I chose to do The BodyMantra Project because I really needed to change the way I spoke, thought and looked at my body. After having 2 babies, my relationship with my body was at its lowest. I definitely didn’t like what I saw, hated the way I felt and had no love and connection towards my body at all. I felt exhausted, dull and weak, and I was having some digestive issues also.

 

Having two little girls, I knew this had to change, as I want to be a positive role model for them especially when it comes to loving yourself and body image. Through The BodyMantra Project I learned how to respect, appreciate and be thankful to my body for all it has done for me. I had never looked at my body in this way and it actually saddened me and I got quite emotional on just how hard and unfair I had been on my body. It made me realise that it was my body that gave me the two most important things in my life - my girls. It was my body that allowed me to get pregnant, carry them both. It was my body that allowed me to have 2 completely natural births, which is what I wanted, and then it nourished and fed my babies through breast feeding. All this wouldn’t have been possible without my body and I had never once thanked, respected or was grateful to my body for doing all this for me. 

 

I am now proud of how it has changed. I see these changes as reminders of my two beautiful babies and will be forever thankful that my body gave them to me.

 

The main take-out is how I feel about my body now. I feel great! I have lost weight, I feel lighter, stronger, have so much more energy, I am no longer so hard on myself, I am fairer to my body and thankful for all that it has done for me. The way I look, talk and think about my body is in such a positive way.

I am truly grateful for being gently guided to learn self-awareness. It allowed me to identify that I was not at peace with myself at all, in fact I had no idea just how disconnected I was living within my own body – the best friend and tool we own, for the entirety of our life!

 

With these simple tools and techniques and a splash of self-empowerment, taught through the program, I have already implemented the smallest changes with some of the biggest, positive impacts yet.

 

I have even started to see the positive changes shining through in my circle of friends, family and colleagues too and even connected with new and beautiful, inspiring souls during the 30-Day Program.

 

The program also supported my mind and fuelled my body as it was designed, I have more energy than I can keep up with, I am glowing, my IBS symptoms have gone and my insides are working like they did 10 years ago. I thought I would just accept [my symptoms] and live with them forever... I can see and feel I am now the best version of me and will continue with this journey and my BodyMantra as the "vivacious, wholesome, beautiful" person I desire to be.

I'm a great believer in mindfulness and have used meditation to connect with my higher self for years. However, right before I started The BodyMantra Project I felt off track and didn't know how to fix it. That's when I joined The BodyMantra Project and it was the best thing I could have done! By week 3 of The BodyMantra Project I varied my exercise program and got the kids involved. They loved exercising with their mum. I was also feeling really well. Sleeping well. Lots of energy. Life was GREAT!

 

I loved the readings that were provided each week. This improved knowledge and understanding about food and the body. Also the structured program that gave me focus to stay on track. The best thing I gained from The BodyMantra Project was the ability to listen to my body. Before the program I have had feelings of nausea for some time and believed that it was something that I just had to get used to. After commencing The BodyMantra Project the nausea subsided and I felt that I was reconnecting with my body again. I now have more focus, increased energy, a sense of calmness in myself and better sleeping patterns.
